Multimodal AI Emotion-based Music Generation App
Project Overview
Momenta is a multimodal AI emotion-based music generation app I am building from scratch. As both product manager and AI engineer, I independently handle the entire product lifecycle — from user research and UI/UX design to full-stack iOS development and AI model integration. The app generates personalized music by analyzing the user's physiological data, environment, and emotional state through multimodal AI.
My Responsibilities
- Product planning: Defined roadmap and MVP scope based on user interviews and competitive analysis.
- UI/UX design: Completed full iOS design in Figma/Pencil with Apple-native aesthetics.
- Full-stack iOS development: Built with Xcode + SwiftUI, including Liquid Glass UI effects.
- Backend infrastructure: Integrated Supabase for auth, data sync, and user management.
- AI integration: OpenAI API + Suno AI + HealthKit + WeatherKit for end-to-end music generation.
What I Did
The biggest technical challenges were replicating iOS 26's Liquid Glass effect (solved by deep-diving into Apple's developer documentation to find the correct APIs) and self-teaching Supabase cloud backend integration from scratch, including implementing Google Sign-In and Apple ID Sign-In OAuth protocols. These experiences demonstrate strong execution ability and self-driven problem-solving skills.
